1. Who we are
This website (thesacredcocoon.in) is operated by The Sacred Cocoon, run by Mary Jain ("we", "us"). You can reach us any time on WhatsApp at +91 80732 15811 or on Instagram at @maryjainofficial.
2. What we collect
When you fill a form on this site we collect: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, city, and anything you choose to tell us (for example why you want to join a retreat). We also collect basic technical data through analytics tools (see section 4), such as which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. We do not knowingly collect sensitive health details through this website - health questions are asked privately after you request an invite.
3. Why we use it
We use your details only to: respond to your enquiry, contact you about the session or retreat you asked about, manage your booking, and (if you opt in) keep you informed about future sessions. We never sell your data to anyone.
4. Analytics and advertising tools
We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how the site is used and to measure the effect of our ads. These tools place cookies on your device and receive data such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, and (in hashed form) some details you submit in a form. You can block them any time by clearing/blocking cookies in your browser or using a private window. Where required, we seek consent before using non-essential cookies.
5. Third-party services we rely on
Your form entries are stored in Google Forms / Google Sheets (Google's privacy policy applies to their storage), payments are processed by Razorpay (we never see or store your card details), and communication happens over WhatsApp (Meta). We only share the minimum data needed with these providers to deliver the service you asked for.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and, if you attend, for our records. You can ask us to delete your details any time.
7. Your choices
You may: ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent to be contacted (just say so on WhatsApp), and opt out of targeted advertising through your ad preferences (Google Ad Settings / Meta Ad Preferences).
8. Security
Data is stored with the providers above using their standard security (encrypted connections, access controls). No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we limit what we collect to reduce risk.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced on the site.
